My spouse had requested a pamphlet from Pure Cremations some time back, and they were instructed to remove us from their list, yet they're phoning again with these irritating calls. We picked up the fixed-line ring, but the person on the other end had already disconnected before any conversation could happen.
A prerecorded voicemail arrived from the caller: 'Customer Service Team. Dial 0800 033 7733 to remove your info from our database.' Definitely appears fraudulent.
