This is a genuine call from the bank's fraud department regarding suspicious transactions on my credit card.

This call was indeed from Tesco Bank regarding fraudulent activity on my credit card. To ensure it wasn’t a scam, I called the number listed on my statement and confirmed it was a legitimate call.

Received a call from the Tesco fraud team asking me to return their call. They had blocked a fraudulent payment and cancelled my card.

Verification from Tesco bank confirms that this was a genuine call regarding a failed transaction.

I can confirm this is a genuine number for Tesco security, i was unsure at first, so i rang Tesco fraud department, and they told me it was legit, and someone had been trying to use my card

I got a text from Tesco about fraud with another number to follow - I didnt trust it so i rang tesco directly where they confirm they had blocked a fraud transaction on my card - and issued a new one, so it is ok but if you dont trust it then go independantly to the number on the back of your card and they will send you through the usual security hoops - a pain but at least you know its ok
