Honestly, mate, it turned out to be a rip-off – the bloke demanded a vehicle report and wanted cash upfront before even laying eyes on the car. He claimed it was the only report he trusted. I offered to have him cover the cost and deduct it from the sale, but he insisted I should foot the bill. My suspicion kicked in, I dug a bit, and that saved me from the scam.
