Block These Pesky Scammers!
Summary — +447418311654
Expert Opinion
Ever pondered why unknown callers seem to know details about your life? These reports reveal a pattern of fraudulent calls impersonating legitimate claims for car finance or PPI refunds, often from Barclays. Scammers probe for personal info like names, titles, or loan history, using fabricated details to build trust. No genuine organisation operates this way—legitimate firms never cold-call for such claims. Block the number immediately, report to Action Fraud, and avoid sharing any details. If pressed, hang up and verify directly with your bank. Staying vigilant prevents identity theft; these nuisances prey on the unwary, but a quick block keeps them at bay.

After O2 warned me the number might be a scam, I ignored it and let it go to voicemail, then verified it here and blocked it.
Received a silent scam call.
Their supposed records claim I purchased a car and were mis‑sold finance, yet I don’t hold a licence or own a vehicle. The caller even asked whether I’m Miss or Mrs, ignoring my title of Dr, which shows they have no legitimate data.
May those awful individuals meet a swift end, perhaps being struck by a speeding Kia Picanto.
These people are absolute shitebags.
Did not pick up because the number was unfamiliar; reported it and added to block list.
Another fraudster called; that's two attempts already today!
Beware of a Barclays PPI fraud scheme.
They affirmed I held car finance from 2019‑2021 but refused to specify the vehicle. When pressed for details, the caller claimed it covered all my cars – clearly a scam.

This is undoubtedly a scam; you can't get a callback from that number, so avoid it.
It was clearly a scam call, evident from the click sound right after the line was picked up.
I got a call about a car hp claim even though I don't own a vehicle, lol. I can't imagine how they rest at night; I hope they have to use the loo three times tonight but only wake up twice.
A male voice greeted me with “hello xxxxx” as if he knew me, then chatted about past loans. I corrected him that the name was wrong and ended the call. I had only answered because I awaited an urgent reply to an earlier call. This was undoubtedly a scam, so I blocked the number. Oddly, he used my daughter’s name, though she’s four and has never had a loan.
Clearly a scam; I’ve blocked and removed the contact.
