Got a Google spam call – I asked them to pull my business off their scam list, now I’m bombarded with 5‑20 emails or calls a day about Google, it’s boring now, lol.
Like the earlier reports, I called back and spoke to a representative who said they were from a tech department and that Google had flagged my business for inactivity, threatening suspension unless I paid. He insisted there would be a charge, I refused, and he warned the listing would be suspended anyway. It was clearly an Indian call centre trying to swindle, so avoid giving any details or money.
