This is Openreach contacting you to verify your fibre box before activating a new internet connection. I recently switched to Sky, and they needed confirmation. It seems legitimate.

Received texts from this number claiming to be Openreach. They knew the latter half of my postcode and that I'm getting EE broadband, which is more info than a scammer usually has. They kept asking me to reply "YES" or "NO" to if I have access to the property. I asked them to prove they're legit, but they just repeated the question. I tried calling but it didn't go through. Checked Openreach's website but couldn't confirm. Ignored them and didn't respond, just in case.
Contrary to suspicions, this number is actually used by EE for texting to confirm supplier changes and agree on new services.
