Having read the reports, I’m going to block this number.
Scammers also label themselves as “The Debt Reducers” or similar. When you block them, they simply spoof another bogus number. Definitely fraudulent – this is my umpteenth report.
He said he was with Citizens Advice; when I asked to be removed from their list he replied he couldn't and then hung up.

I was phoned about debt consolidation, and they even knew my name. Supposedly representing a financial authority, though the accent made the agency unclear, and they turned hostile when I declined.
He claimed his name was Steve from a citizens advice verification team about a debt. When I asked for specifics, he mentioned personal loans, which I don't have, and he abruptly hung up. I'm confident the name was fake and the number should be avoided.
