As a general rule, I avoid answering calls from unknown numbers; if the caller has a genuine reason to reach me, they'll either leave a message or contact me via text or email, and I'm also cautious of 'Messenger' messages from supposed friends asking for favours or money, which can be verified by asking a question that only a real friend would know.
I got a recorded message on my landline from 0808 280 3007, supposedly from Santander, mentioning my names and a security alert, but my account showed no suspicious activity.
I was contacted by 0808 273 5636, and a warning mesage appeard on my desktop, saying that i had to ring them, or else my computer would be compromized, but it was just a scam, and i had to change all my passwords

A text was received, allegedly from Santander, warning of a suspicious charge on my credit card, and providing an alternative number, 0808 280 0401, to call; however, it's essential not to respond, as this could confirm my identity and potentially be used against me.

Today at 12:45, I received a call from 08081892881. They did not leave a message, so I chose not to answer. It seems to be a scam and a nuisance that should be shut down.
My wife was contacted by 08081960468, who claimed to be from our bank, warning of unauthorised debit card use, fortunatly no funds were affected, but alot of passwords had to be changed
