A lengthy and costly call to Ryanair proved unsuccessful, with excessive waiting times and high charges.
It's absolutly ridiculious, I was charged £109 and never even got to speak to their agent, the online chat wasnt working, and I needed to buy a same day flight ticket, but their system didnt allow it, so I had to ring them, and then I was left sitting on hold for over an hour, which was a compleate waste of time
Ryanair's customer service was heavily criticised for their handling of a booking issue, which resulted in a significant phone bill.
I was charged £149 for 3 phone calls, which their website said was 13p per minute, but 02 told me it was a minimum of 56p per minute, whats the point of a company like this
A substantial sum of £300 was wasted on flights to Spain prior to quarantine, as I attempted to contact someone to repurpose the booking for an alternative destination, but my efforts were in vain, with £60 spent on this number without ever getting through, only to discover a standard return fee of £70 applies to change flights anyway, rendering it pointless; my advice is to opt for alternative airlines if possible to avoid Ryan Air's shortcomings.
Ryanair's call charges for altering flights due to covid are a total rip-off, especially from 08712460000.
Avoid this company! Tried reaching them for days without success.
My elderly mother was targeted by a scammer using this number, who convinced her to divulge personal details under false pretences
The callers, who claimed to be seeking a refund, were dishonest and abusive.
Called Ryanair and was charged £39 while on hold waiting for a refund on Covid-19 cancelled flights. Still no refund, what a rip off! 🤬🤬 Thanks, Ryanair.
I contacted Ryanair due to a flight time change, which affected my reserved seats, and despite being informed of a 13p per minute charge, I received a 35-pound bill for the calls.
A call to Ryanair resulted in a 50-pound charge for a 30-minute wait.
Its absolutly shocking, they charged me £35 to check in my son over phone because the online option wasnt avaliable
In agreement with previous assessments, this entity appears to be engaged in exploitative practices, exemplified by a 50-minute hold period and an unsuccessful attempt to charge £13 for services not rendered. The inevitability of their downfall, much like other travel firms, offers a measure of solace. For the time being, they remain a necessary, albeit undesirable, presence.
Charged £15 to discuss disability fast track with Ryanair. Absolutely appalling!
I dont know whats charged, no idea
I was forced to contact Ryanair due to their website's inability to handle check-in, resulting in two costly calls and a frustrating experience with their IT systems
A charge of £12.06 for a 17-minute call is outrageous, especially since I was on hold for nearly 10 minutes. It's outrageous that they can exploit customers like this. STAY AWAY!!
Recently, I reserved two seats with Ryanair. After payment, I realised I had entered the wrong dates. Despite multiple attempts to amend the date, the online form wouldn’t accept my post codes. The following morning, I faced the same issue. Their online assistant suggested I download Google Cloud, which is now their operating system. I did that but encountered the same problem. Eventually, I called them to explain I couldn't resolve it. The agent changed it for me, but it cost £6.30. Considering the originally booked flight was twice the price of my new flights, no refunds are provided. 😥
Mistake was made, cost me £3.78 and £90 to rectify, alot of money
