A rude man, clearly a scammer, talked about my Telstra internet—which we don’t have. He got snarky, so I hung up.
eBay Scam Voicemail Alert!
Summary — +61272383133
Expert Opinion
Voicemails from this number often feature robotic or accented voices pushing fake eBay transaction alerts and foreign transfer warnings, even for recipients without accounts. Background noise and rude tactics in live calls point to scam operations targeting banking fears. No legitimate entity like Visa or Telstra would use such garbled, urgent scripts. Hang up immediately on unsolicited calls; never press buttons or share details. Block the number and report to authorities like the ACCC to curb these nuisances. Verify any real issues directly through official apps or sites—scammers thrive on confusion.

It was clearly a scam attempt. The phone kept ringing, and the voicemail mentioned something about a $300 eBay charge and a $1300 foreign transfer, urging me to press one to speak with a Visa representative. I don’t even have an eBay account or any foreign transfers. The voice sounded robotic and fake.
They left a garbled message about eBay spoken by a female with a US accent. I have never used eBay.
