Expert Opinion
The caller from +6283133000 appears to be posing as a UPS representative, often contacting recipients about import duties or shipping fees for packages. While some users have confirmed that the calls were legitimate and related to actual UPS deliveries, many others found the calls suspicious due to poor English, lack of personalization, and requests for payment via bank transfer or BPAY. The caller often hangs up quickly or leaves vague voicemails, which adds to the suspicion. If you receive such a call, verify the information through official UPS channels, such as their website or the customer service number 131 877. Always ask for an official email invoice before making any payments, and never send money to an unverified account. Stay cautious and double-check everything to avoid falling for scams.
