I can confirm that this number is legitimate and belongs to Westpac's Fraud Department, as I received an SMS about potential fraudulent transactions and was contacted by Westpac after responding to the SMS.
Following a conversation with St George Fraud department, it was confimed that they use this line to verify missing informations, a legitamate phone number for the Fraud department
Following three transactions on my account, I received a message purporting to be from Bank SA, asking me to verify the transactions, and subsequently, a call from someone claiming to be from the bank's Fraud department, which I did not answer, as it is likely a scam.
