Brandon: This number's definately tied to FedEx somehow. I recentley ordered some cheap stuff online that FedEx shipped from Hong Kong. Next thing I know, I get a call from this Aussie number - total spoof. Then I get this sketchy text from 'Fedex-Exp' with 'GOOD DAY' in all caps, seemed hella suspisious, so I deleted it pronto. These scammers are crazy smart, impersonating FedEx like that.
Is this FedEx scam? What to do next

Expert Opinion
Most callers claiming to be FedEx are using a spoofed number to run scams, so treat any unexpected contact as suspicious. Verify the request by logging into your FedEx account or calling the official customer‑service number you find on the FedEx website—never rely on the phone number that called you. Never share personal data, payment details, or shipping invoices over the phone unless you have confirmed the caller’s identity. If the call feels pressuring you to pay a customs fee or un‑searched charge, hang up and double‑check the shipment status online. Use a call blocker or register the number on a do‑not‑call list, and report the incident to FedEx and your local consumer‑protection agency.
