A man named Dave claimed to represent PayPal.
A Telstra‑purported voice with a distinct Indian accent called twice, claiming to be from tech support; after I told them off, the line was cut.
The caller already knew my email and phone, and claimed my PayPal account had been hacked. Keep in mind PayPal never makes cold calls – they always reach out first via email.
Two missed calls came from a voice with a thick Indian accent claiming to be Telstra tech support; I told them off and they hung up fast, yeah.
