An automated message warned that my computer maintenance subscription had expired and that a $600 charge would be applied unless I called the listed number. I don't have such a subscription, yet I redialed before checking the voicemail. A man answered, I recognized it as a marketing call and ended the conversation.
They pretended there was a computer issue, but ended the call as soon as I questioned them.
After calling back, the line rang once then disconnected automatically.
When I picked up, the line was disconnected immediately.
