GP Scam Alert: Don't Update Details!
Summary — +61393169276
Expert Opinion
Approach calls from unfamiliar numbers with immediate suspicion, especially if they persist or use sequential numbers—it's a classic red flag for coordinated scams. Reports indicate this caller often speaks in Chinese or broken English, pretending to be from your GP to extract personal details like health records. Don't engage or provide info; hang up right away and block the number. For added protection, register on Australia's Do Not Call list and use apps that screen spam. If you've shared details, monitor your accounts and report to authorities like the ACCC to help curb these fraud attempts.

The number reached me, and the speaker only used Chinese.
On Sunday, 15 June 2025 around 1 pm, I saw an unknown Melbourne number flash on my screen. I ignored it, and the call vanished. Shortly after, another unfamiliar number rang, which I also dismissed. Two more sequential numbers followed, none of which were saved in my contacts. Clearly these were scammers—avoid all four of those numbers.
Just another spam call.
