Not a scam. It’s AGL’s offshore telemarketers trying to switch you to a "better" electricity plan. For me, the new plan wasn’t any better, but it might work for others. It’s legitimate, though.

The caller claim to be from AGL outbound, they try to convience me to switch to the "special saver" plan, they knew my account number and other services, but the email took alot of time to arrive, like 3 days or so.
A call from AGL customer retention tried to sign me up for a “special saver” utility plan; I confirmed its legitimacy when AGL verified the outbound call after I called their official number. Although their email confirmation can take up to three days, the caller correctly cited my account number, associated services, asked for my surname, and mentioned my suburb.
