After ringing back, I discovered that the number belongs to a Care Facility that had been hacked, resulting in numerous ghost calls.
Turns out this number actually belongs to a care home whose line got hijacked. A bunch of folks, myself included, got a phantom call and accidentally called back. The care home’s staff said Telstra’s on it, trying to sort things out. Those number thieves are pretty low‑key nasty, huh.
