John called our office and kept demanding the marketing manager’s mobile; I gave him an email instead and told him I won’t do business with anyone who won’t share a mobile, he said he’s John from ADF, hey.
ADF Scam Alert: Fake Magazine Push
Summary — +61413754901
Expert Opinion
Block this number immediately to avoid wasting time on pushy tactics. These calls mimic Australian Defence Force reps, often using names like John to solicit payments for fake magazine listings or donations to emergency services. The caller gets aggressive when questioned, a classic scam red flag that preys on trust in official-sounding organizations. Hang up without engaging, and report to authorities like the ACCC for tracking. Verify any legit ADF contact through official channels only—never share details over unsolicited calls. Apps like Truecaller flag it accurately, so use them to screen unknowns.

A scammer claimed to be from the Defence Force
The caller, John Davis, is from ADV, and they want to charge me for a listing in a digital magazine, but i think it's a scam.
This caller is a deceitful and worthless individual.
A caller named John from ADF kept inquiring if I was “xxx”. I declined to respond and asked for his identity. He repeated his name and questioned if I was “xxx” again. I pressed for the reason behind his call, and he became upset, stating he would take his business elsewhere before hanging up. He had an Australian accent - clearly a scammer. The trucaller app identifies him as ADF magazine.
