I ran into the same thing this week—guy complained about a hair in take‑away food, said he paid cash but had no proof and claimed he was on holiday. Total scam, man.

A scammer rang on 17 Sep 2025 claiming to complain about my pho; after I explained I hadn't served anyone, he hung up.

Someone called asking for a refund on food that supposedly had hair, yet we found no order under their name—sounds fishy, dude.

The individual on the phone claimed to have found hair in their food and requested a refund, but unfortunately, we were unable to locate their order in our database.

We've had multiple encounters with this individual, who has been attempting to scam us by complaining about non-existent takeaway meals and requesting refunds, only to hang up when questioned further.

A person, identifying themselves as either K a Coutler or Matthew Coulter, contacted my restaurant in Brisbane, Queensland, on two separate occasions, resulting in financial losses for my business due to their deceptive tactics, which involved fabricating food allergies to obtain refunds.

Each time, the caller changes their name, which is a tactic commonly used by scammers, particularly those targeting fast food establishments.

The caller was trying to get a refund over the phone, but didn't provide any proof of payment, it's suspicious
