I recieved a call from this number, claiming to be from Amazon, regarding the expiry of my Amazon prime membership, and the subsequennt auto renewal, however I was immediatly sceptical, and ended the call, blocking the number to avoid any further issues.
Upon answering, I was greeted by an automated service claiming to be from Amazon, stating that my Prime membership would be renewed at an inflated rate of $99, which I knew to be incorrect, as the actual annual fee is $59. The message instructed me to press 1 to cancel, but I'm aware that legitimate membership cancellations can be done directly on the website.
