Clearly, you havent read the FAQs. Charites arent included in the Do Not Call Register. Its right there in black and white: they can still call you, even if youre registred. Get with the program.
I'm a regualar donor to local charities and I always ask telemarketers if theyre voluntaring their time or getting paid. Its suprising how quickly they hang up when I tell them about my own voluntearing work. And let me tell you, after getting scammed by some dodgy online shoe store, I'm super carefull about giving out my credit card details.

Seriosly fed up with the phone ringing and when I answer, there's no one there. Got so annoyed I desided to ring them back. Got some automated thingy and then spoke to a nice lady who said there was some timing issue or somthing. Told her I've had loads of problems with these calls and others seem to have the same issue. Asked her to take me off their system and she said she would. Bloody anoying!
Tina's had enought of all these charities ignoring peoples wishes and bombarding them with calls where nobody even bothers to speek. It's high time they respect peoples boundries. It's not like we're not willing to donate but the way they do it is so off-puting. And another thing, they just ignore it when you ask to be taken off their register. It's like they just dont care.
Dont even think about givin to these fake charities or you'll be flooded with calls from all sorts. I'll never give to charities over the phone, no way. How do I no they're legit? I like to choose who I donate to and when, not when som stranger calls me out of the blue. It's just common sence. And another thing, these charities should be ashamed of themselves for usin peoples donations like this. Not impressed.
Got a feelin it's some clever telemarketer who's just tryin to make a quick buck. Calls come in every day at the same time, then next week, different time. Anoyin, 'specially since I just wanna tell 'em I've already donated in the past, but they just hang up. Cant even get a word in edgewise.
