Following a call this morning on 30/10/2024, it has been conformed this number is assocated with ORIGIN, prefferably i use 13 24 61 which apears on the ORIGIN website when im unsure.
This is Origin Energy. It's not a scam. After resolving an issue with them, I can confirm it's legitimate (and I'm not the scammer either!)

I'm geting calls from this number and they say it's Western Aust but the prefix is 08 from SA? Plus, it's allwas a recorded message, super annoying

Apparently, someone claiming to be from Origin Energy is making fishing scam calls to obtain personal details, which seems to have sucessfully caught some people or the scammers themself have left reviews here.
Liam here, just got a call from Origon and they're asking me to cancel all emails and phone calls - aparently my case (ref no 23020101) has been resolved and closed by the ombudsman, thanks for notifing me!
