Silent Breaths and Hold Music: Is This a Scam?
Summary — +6492963360
Expert Opinion
Ever wonder why a silent breath on the line feels eerie? The pattern you’re seeing – repeated unanswered calls, hold music, and brief breathing sounds – is typical of automated robocall scams that use silent gaps to bypass detection. Block the number in your phone’s settings and consider a reputable call‑blocking app. Report the number to your carrier and, if you’re in New Zealand, to the Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment. Stay cautious about any claim that you must answer or face a fine; legitimate agencies will provide clear identification and contact details.

Two calls arrived within a two‑hour window. The first featured someone breathing for four seconds before I was placed on hold and a song started playing. The second consisted of five seconds of breathing with no speech. I have now blocked the number due to stalker‑like behavior.
