A woman called claiming I’d won a contest and asked me to verify details to claim the prize. I responded only with grunts, aware they could record my voice, just to test them. She asked where I shop most, whether I own a cat or dog, and if I’d like to support a charity, mentioning St John’s and the Salvation Army. She grew irritated by my minimal replies and ended the call. The number reaches a voicemail if called back.
