Unmasking the Global Economic Forum Spam Ring
Summary — +6498021879
Expert Opinion
Be wary of unsolicited calls claiming to represent a global economic research group. Many reports describe repeated outreach from varied Australian numbers, with background noise that mimics a call centre or trading floor. Callers often ask vague questions about COVID‑19’s impact, then abruptly hang up when probed. This pattern matches classic spam calling tactics aimed at harvesting personal data or simply wasting time. If you receive such a call, do not share any personal information, hang up, and block the number. Report the incident to your telecom provider and, if harassment persists, consider filing a complaint with consumer protection authorities.
