I received a notification in my mailbox with the logo of my documents, regarding the verification of the meter, expiration date, and so on. The date has not expired yet. This appears to be a forced service with the aim of extorting money.

Somebody threw fake notification letters in the mailbox from Мои документы and Единый информационный центр about meter verification, and they recieved my adress and payer code from the managing company, they did alot of effort, alot of papers...

Apparently, con artists are distributing letters with informational messages about obligatory water meter calibration via mailboxes, utilising visual images that mimic those of EIC in Moscow and My Documents centers, but in reality, they are scamming people out of alot of money.
