I received a call from an NTT East Japan contracted company, supposedly to check the modem, asking if my internet speed was slow. I said it wasn't slow, and the call seemed suspicious. It's as if they think showing their employee ID would make me feel at ease. There seem to be many posts warning about such suspicious calls from NTT East Japan contractors.
