This seems suspicious, as others have reported being asked about their household members' ages and other personal information, possibly for the purpose of robbery or scams. Previously, I was asked about my age for a 'census' and I replied that I was in my 30s. It's better for everyone to respond with an age between 20 and 40. We shouldn't give in to these bullies who target ordinary citizens, especially those who aren't wealthy
