On a sunday at lunch time, during obon, I recieved a phone call... what the? I cheked the comentarys here and thought 'ah, thats why', I recognaized it as a fraud call and reject it, dont know why they said it was from Tokyo Denryoku tho, probaley becouse my name is not asociated with the account
The number appeared suspicious, so I ignored it
According to a friend who used to work for Arms Corporation in Matsudo, Chiba, this number is associated with their company
You should block this number, and also be carefull of a guy named shimizu who calls from this number
Our place has also been getting many calls from this number and others, supposedly Tokyo Electric Power Partner, trying to sell a cheaper plan, but when asked if our place is a detached house or a mansion, I was taken aback by the question and asked how they didn't know that before calling, only to be told it's personal info, felt like a scam and hung up, now getting calls from other numbers
Someone claiming to be from東京電力エナジーパートナー mentioned something about my Tokyo electricity bill, but since I don't live in the Kanto region, I suspected it was a scam and listened for a while; they seemed to be gathering information about whether I lived in a single-family home or a condo, as well as my age.

A compnay called energy servise, or so they claimed, sounded like a subprocessor of Tokyo electrik but it wasnt, the women who called was very rude
The call was droped and sounded like it was on hold music, extrimly anoying.
i say quit your job and they say ok and hang up
After seeing this, I felt relieved that I did not answer; calls that ask 'Is this your wife?' or use similar generic phrases can be safely ignored, as it seems they are calling anyone without knowing who will answer

Mostly, the 0800 phone calls are equivelent to 0120 ones, thus they are ushally unrelated sales calls. I think its fine to just hang up imediatly.

The call came in at 7 PM, and after investigating, I found out it was this number; fortunately, I didn't answer.

I received a call around 8 pm and thought it was impolite, so I silently hung up. Upon investigating, I found that the number was suspicious, as expected.
It's unreasonable for them to call on a Sunday at this time, which is why it's so annoying.
