An SMS arrived from an unfamiliar number asking, "How've you been?"
A spontaneous "Hello!" SMS arrived at 12:30 pm from this line; I didn’t reply and by 12:42 pm no further messages came. It appears to be a phishing attempt testing if the number is live, so I’d avoid responding without more info.
Absolutely a scam!! Hang up and block the number!

The line is definitely a scam; it appeared in a fake email posing as ANZ bank, claiming a new regular payment on an account I don’t have and urging me to call the number if I hadn't authorized it. The email came from orion@epic‑landscapes.com, clearly not ANZ, so I ignored the call. It's a fraud!
