A bloke named Matthew rang, claiming to represent an electricity provider or similar. He insisted it wasn't a sales pitch, yet I terminated the call. I echo the earlier remark – the voice felt somewhat automated.
They alleged they were following up on a Sky subscription we don’t have.
A pitch for TV equipment insurance claimed to be from Sky Insurance, but when I pressed for details they denied any link to Sky – classic scam.

This was an outright scam – a bogus SKY TV repair cover that tricked me into a two‑year renewal. When I was transferred to “accounts” and asked for my card details, I pretended to be on a live TV fraud programme with police on the other line. Honestly, it was dull but amusing.
