Unknown calls in Croatia
Unsure about a Croatian number? Explore concise community notes to judge calls and texts. In Zagreb (01), Split (021), Rijeka (051) and Osijek (031) you’ll see both legitimate callbacks (deliveries, banking, appointments) and waves of robocalls or phishing. Mobile 09x ranges offer useful context but do not prove identity or exact location due to portability and VoIP — treat them as hints.
Verification: return calls via the official number on the provider’s website/app, check in‑app notices and never share one‑time codes by phone. Use device/carrier blocking for repeat issues and leave a short, factual note here so others benefit.

Vjerojatno spam, zvučalo je kao masovni poziv bez stvarne svrhe.
Following several consecutive calls from this number, supposedly originating from the Osijek-Baranja region, I initially picked up to find only silence on the other end, prompting me to hang up. The next day, a Croatian-speaking woman attempted to solicit me with an offer involving medical services or a presentation, which I declined due to being out of town. After another call five days later, I decided to block the number, concluding they are likely spam callers or telemarketers with ulterior motives. It was a completly annoying experiance.
Generally, this number make alot of calls, often several in a sequence. Apparently, it's from the Osijek-Baranja region. Initially, I picked up, but there was just silence, so I hung up. Next day, they rang again, and a Croatian-speaking woman was promoting some medical services or events with benefits, but I wasnt interested since I was away. They tried calling again after 5 days, at which point I blocked them. It seem they are either spam callers or telemarketers.
