Da ausschließlich Angestellte von O2 vermutlich Hunderte von Anrufen pro Tag tätigen, wird viel gerattert und man versteht oft nicht, worum es geht – einem wird lediglich etwas aufgezwungen. In meinem Fall ging es um einen Datenabgleich und das Angebot eines Treuerabatts von 50 %, der bereits in meinem Vertrag vorgesehen war. Die Vertragsänderung führte zu einer Verlängerung um 24 Monate, aber da ich noch 18 Monate eines Dreijahresvertrags hatte und mit dem Service zufrieden war, nahm ich den Rabatt und das zusätzliche Datenvolumen im Austausch für ein halbes Jahr Laufzeit. Die Anpassung erschien später in meiner O2‑App. Mein Berater war freundlich, wenn auch sehr schnell sprechend. Es ist tatsächlich O2, das anruft, selbst bei Werbe‑ oder Beratungsgesprächen. Zur angeblichen Rückrufgebühr von 3 € kann ich nichts sagen. Es handelt sich weder um Spam noch um Betrug, und ich habe dadurch Geld gespart. Wie gesagt, ich verstehe die Herkunft der schlechten Bewertungen, wenn man mit Misstrauen an das Gespräch herangeht, aber in meinem Fall war nichts Böses dahinter. Lassen Sie sich nicht von den anderen Kommentaren abschrecken; es ist harmlos und man kann jederzeit auflegen, wenn der Berater zu aufdringlich wird.

I run a life‑insurance brokerage and questioned the purpose; the response was simply “for a policy”. I’ve just relocated to Ireland, etc. A quick Google search seemed odd, so I’m leaving this feedback.
Again the identical number rang, but nobody answered.
The call only rang a single time before ending, which I consider a scam attempt urging you to answer quickly; my recommendation is to be cautious.
