Unknown calls in Ireland
Unsure about an Irish number? Explore concise community reports to judge calls and texts. In Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick you’ll see both legitimate callbacks (deliveries, banking, appointments) and waves of robocalls or phishing. Prefixes like 01 (Dublin), 021 (Cork), 091 (Galway), 061 (Limerick), 051 (Waterford) and mobile ranges (083/085/086/087/089) don’t reliably prove location/identity due to portability and VoIP — use them as context, not proof.
Verification: return calls via the official number on the company website/app, check in‑app notices, and never share one‑time codes by phone. Use device/carrier filters (e.g., 0818 shared‑cost, 1800 toll‑free) for repeat issues and leave a short, factual note here to help others.
Posing as AIB, this is a fraudulent banking scam.
Annoying telephonic intrusion.
Utterly annoying and unprofessional.
It called me twice and was irritating.
I've been bombarded with calls from this number, and its unprofessional conduct really annoyed me.
The 016934410 line is legit—she’s from Dogs Trust and already had my info, so I didn’t need to share anything, cool.
This line just won't stop ringing, dude.
Fraud.
Received a suspicious activity text supposedly from Bank of Ireland—looks legit enough, huh.
Fraudulent activity.
Together with 0899780128, this line was used to run a scam on adverts, offering concert tickets that never arrived.
I got three back‑to‑back calls from a woman asking for my AIB card number; she even mentioned my recent transaction, and I foolishly gave my name and address. When I called back, a lady said she was from AIB and warned me not to share details.
Several calls came from this number; each time I picked up, the line was disconnected, and a callback prompted me for my 16‑digit card number. Definitely a red flag, so I blocked the number and observed occasional call attempts in the log.
When I picked up, they cut the call right away.
Fraudulent call pretending to be AIB card services.
These are Intrum debt collectors; a call from them indicates a debt has been passed to them, and it isn’t a scam.
I've been receiving scam calls for months.
Pure fraud, bro.
Seems to be a debt‑collector scam, dude.
