The caller claimed to be from BT, stating that my internet and telephone services had been compromised and would be disconnected unless I pressed 1 to speak to a manager. Having spoken to genuine BT representatives recently, I recognised this as a scam. It's disappointing that these individuals don't pursue more constructive activities.
