I received two mysterious messages today, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, both claiming to be from Amazon Prime. The messages, which were not picked up by the 1471 service, instructed me to press 1 to speak with an advisor about cancelling or modifying my membership. The whole experience was quite strange, and I'm still trying to make sense of it.
A call was received from this number, with a recorded message claiming to be from Amazon and stating that there was a charge on the recipient's account, but it is believed to be a scam.
