While it was initially challenging to ignore the ringing, I have grown accustomed to letting it ring and only occasionally checking the caller ID if I am nearby, and I have implemented measures such as call blocking and priority ringing to manage unwanted calls and ensure that only authorized individuals can reach me.

In the past, a device known as Caller ID Manager was available, but it has since been discontinued without explanation. A similar solution is now offered by the Digitone call blocker, although it is quite pricey. It would be beneficial if Digitone could add the capability for unlimited white listing, rather than the current limit of 30 numbers. Ideally, all types of phones, including cell phones, should have a built-in call blocker that can block any type of number used by fraudulent callers.

From my experiance, a call blocking device can be very efective in reducing these kinds of calls, especialy the ones that originate from the same number or area code, which in my case, were the 'prison' calls.

In my opinon, having a white list is the best way to block out scammers, we wont waist our time or energy on them, only the numbers we allow will ring

Apparently, you beleive people should just opt out of your calls without being autorized to call them, thats ridiculous, are you lawyers or scam artist?
