Wie belt er eigenlijk op je telefoon zonder herkenning? Vaak lijken onbekende nummers op een legitieme incasso, maar echt zijn het meestal oplichters die proberen persoonlijke gegevens of geld af te troggelen. Vraag altijd eerst om een schriftelijke bevestiging via een officieel kanaal en deel nooit je bank‑ of identiteitsgegevens via de telefoon. Gebruik blokkeer‑apps of de ‘niet‑storen’-functie van je provider om verdachte nummers te filteren. Meld de oproep bij de toezichthouder (FTC/ConsuWijzer) en bewaar eventuele opnames als bewijs. Een korte onderzoek online kan al veel duidelijk maken voordat je reageert.
