Google verification call – legit or scam?
Summary — +12024558888
Expert Opinion
Never answer a verification call you didn't request. Unsolicited numbers claiming to be Google often deliver a spoken code, but they can be spoofed or used for phishing. If you receive such a call, hang up and check your Google account directly via a browser or the official app. Do not provide personal details or credit‑card numbers. Enable two‑step verification and add a trusted phone number, then use the in‑app prompt to view codes. Block the offending number on your handset and report it to your carrier. Regularly review account activity for any unauthorised logins.
