Tonight, I recieved a call from this particuler number, claiming to be Amazon, after waiting for atleast 15 minuits, they thanked me for becomming a prime member, which I am not, and then asked for my informations.
Following a call from this number, I was left confused as my caller ID suggested it might be a scam. Upon researching online, I found conflicting claims about its association with Amazon. Previously, I had contacted Amazon regarding an undelivered order and they promptly called me back to resolve the issue. However, when this number called and I later contacted Amazon to verify, they assured me it was not one of their numbers and had no record of any activity on my account. They also checked my credit card for any unauthorized transactions and refunded my order. Amazon's policy is to only contact customers by phone when requested, which further confirmed my suspicions about this number.
