Why Telemarketers Keep Asking for Your Owner
Summary — +12143066001
Expert Opinion
Turns out the majority of these reports point to a persistent telemarketing operation pushing web‑design services. Callers often claim to represent Link Now Media or a vague “website designer,” and they repeatedly ask for the business owner. The pattern suggests automated dialing followed by a live pitch, which is a classic spam‑call tactic. To protect your data, let unknown numbers go to voicemail, block repeat offenders, and consider a call‑filtering service. If a caller asks for a simple yes/no answer, hang up—any response can confirm an active line for scammers. Keep a log of offending numbers and report them to your carrier or the FTC.
