I spoke with someone named Susie, who provided a case number for a recovery benefit, but upon contacting the B.C. government, it was discovered that the case number does not exist
This call appears to be a scam, and it is recommended to block the number immediately
Given the preceding posts, it seems likely that either a scam has been perpetrated or a deceptive tactic is being employed.
The ministry contacted me regarding my income assistance.
A call was received from someone impersonating an Employment Standards officer. The individual had some knowledge of the recipient's claim but requested personal information. When told that the information had already been given to the actual officer, the caller did not follow up, and a subsequent call to the number resulted in a short, suspicious audio clip.
