Scam Texts Pretending to Deactivate Your Card!
Summary — +12563472846
Expert Opinion
Never share personal or card details with unsolicited texts—scammers use fake deactivation alerts to create panic. These messages typically masquerade as banks or credit unions, pulling real‑world brand names to lend credibility. When you get a notice to call a strange number, hang up and verify directly through the institution’s official website or customer service line. Block the offending number and report it to your carrier and the FTC to help curb future abuse. Keep a log of such attempts; patterns often emerge that can aid law‑enforcement investigations. Stay skeptical and protect your financial identity.
