Expert Opinion
Ever get that relentless hum of static and a dead‑end hang‑up? It’s a textbook case of robocall spoofing, where scammers mask a local prefix to slip past filters. The pattern—no voicemail, background noise, and a sudden cut—signals an automated dialer probing for a live ear. Block the number at the carrier level, enable STIR/SHAKEN verification if available, and report the abuse to the FTC. Consider a call‑blocking app that flags mismatched caller ID data. If you’ve answered once, change any passwords tied to that line and monitor accounts for unauthorized activity. Stay vigilant, and let the silence be your safeguard.

modely, I ignore calls from unrecognised numbers, and this particualr number left a voicemail which was just a bunch of noise, possibily with voices in the background, but nothing that made sence. After reading other coment's, I've decied to block this number, espeically since I recieve so many scam calls daily, the "Do Not Call" list seems to be pointless.
