Beware: Fake IRS Phone Scams Targeting You

A robotic call was made claiming serious charges were pending, threatening jail time, and requesting immediate contact, which appears to be a deception

They threathened to take me into custody if I didnt call back, but they didnt identify themselves, the call started in the middle of a sentence, its good to know someone else recieved a call from them, this kind of thing should be ilegal

Within a five-hour period, this number called three times, falsely claiming to be the IRS and threatening arrest if the call was not returned.

I allowed the call to go to voicemail, and the robocall claimed to be from the FBI investigation team, stating that I had 24 business hours to respond or face arrest by local law enforcement.

I've received two calls from these scammers, and they left a message threatening legal action if I don't contact them regarding my tax filings.

I dont want to recieve calls from these peoples anymore, they are lyin and saying they are from the IRS, thats juste not true.

Upon receiving this call at 6:48 AM PDST, i was furious to be woken at such a ridiculuous hour, and the person claim to be from the IRS, which i know is not posible, i called them back and gave them a piece of my mind
