Expert Opinion
Recent patterns show a flood of messages from 032‑054‑6688 claiming overdue AmBank loans or credit‑card bills. Most recipients report that the texts mimic official collection notices, use the phrase “COLL Ctr” and request immediate payment via bank transfer or cash deposit. Because the language is generic and the sender often cannot be verified through AmBank’s official channels, the safest move is to ignore the SMS, avoid calling the number, and contact AmBank directly using the phone number listed on their website. Block the number, report it to your mobile carrier and to local consumer‑protection agencies. Never share personal or financial details with unsolicited callers.
