I'm such a sucker! I ansered the phone, and it was some chick from WWF asking me survey questions. Then she asked for my full name and adress - yeah, I gave it to her. But when she asked for my IC number, I was like, 'Uh, no.'
So, I got a call from these people who claim to be from diferent banks - HLB, Eon, Maybank, Citibank, etc. That's a major red flag, if you ask me. I'm prety sure they're just outsourced companys hired by the banks to sell their financial products. Not exacly legit, if you know what I mean.
This moring, some scammer rang me from this number. They knew exaclty which card I was using - freaky. They asked me to confirm if I'd signed the card and warned me not to give out my mum's maiden name or CVV number. But then it got fishy...
