A phishing attempt was made via a link claiming to be from Wells Fargo, which was accidentally opened.
I was sent a text mesage, saying i was choses to recieve a 20,000 dollar donation from Pastor Roland Olive Baptist Church, requesting my banking informations, but i didnt give them eny informations, and i beleive this is a scam.
It's getting increasingly frustrating, I've been recieving the same text message from multiple numbers, and it's happeneing multiple times a day, I block one number and then I get the same message from a different number, it's exausting!
It is worth noting that the original post is over a year old and the recipient may not see this response
This is a total scam where a check for $2000 is sent, and after depositing it, an individual is asked to pre-pay $1500 for a decal at a bogus body shop, resulting in the check bouncing and the individual being liable for $2000
I recieved a text from this number, it looks like a scam so I will delete and block it
