Matrix Medical home‑health calls – what to watch for!
Summary — +14125339224
Expert Opinion
Bottom line: these calls appear to be from a home‑health service tied to Highmark, often identified as Matrix Medical. Verify identity by asking for a name badge, official paperwork, or a callback number, then compare it with Highmark’s member portal. Never share Social Security numbers, insurance details, or banking info over the phone. If the caller pressures you for immediate payment or personal data, hang up and contact Highmark directly using a known number. Keep a log of call times and any reference numbers, and report suspicious activity to your insurer’s fraud department. Simple identity verification and using official channels can protect you from potential scams.

The response to the original poster is unnecessary, as they had already been informed, and it's unclear why the responder is looking up the number if they already know who called.
Matrix is actualy a service provid by Highmark for in home health checks, you can make an apointment and a nurse will come to your home
It is already known that this number is a problem, but my question is why are you looking up this number?
I concur with BigA; they are affiliated with Highmark and have visited my home to offer wellness check-ups, which come with a $25 Mastercard incentive.
If you had conducted research online, you would have discovered that Matrix Medical conducts home visits on behalf of insurance companies. Although it's a legitimate company, I would question the purpose of the visit, as the vast majority of people don't require such services.
A call was received from an individual claiming to represent Matrix Medical Network, although my caller ID listed Highmark; these individuals, posing as nurses, may be attempting to deceive Medicare recipients
